Honorifics indicating marital status are stupid.

Now I’m worrying over how to address a woman for an email for school(ish) and I’m not sure which to use and if it will be offensive to misuse it. It’s easy when it is directly related to school and you can just throw “Prof.” in front of everything and you are fine.

Is it too informal to just drop the title and just put their name?

As far as I understand, “Ms.” is always acceptable, married or not. But, depending on the situation, dropping the title might be fine. Hard to know without further information.

Atelier Brückner - Magic Box (2010)

Absolutely gorgeous. I wonder what the technology is: just a bunch of flat panels? Rear projection?

I have the bad habit of writing down too little when I make a note to myself. In the moment I always thing “eh, that will be enough for me to remember what I’m thinking about”.

Apparently “spring legs” is supposed to mean something to me.

When I googled “spring legs”, this came up: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vernhart/1165129268/
